We offer a variety of classes for people of all skill levels. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive studio for all! We have props and mats available to rent for a fee. All props included. Mats and towels are available for rent, for $2. All fitness levels are welcome.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

ONLY AT WEST HARLEM
V1: ALIGNMENT-BASED VINYASAThis is our yoga basics class, designed with beginners in mind. We’ve slowed down the pace a bit to allow more emphasis on proper alignment and breathing techniques. Longer posture holds will create heat and strength for overall body toning.
All levels welcome.
V2: ALL LEVELS VINYASA FLOW
A Vinyasa flow class, set at a more vigorous pace than our V1 classes in order to build heat in the body. We open up key muscle groups preparing you for more challenging “peak” poses.
All levels welcome.
V3: DYNAMIC VINYASA + Advanced Postures
A more advanced Vinyasa flow class set at an athletic pace offering intermediate to advanced posture variations and options for arm balances and inversions. Be prepared to have fun and try something new!
Previous knowledge of yoga is recommended.
ACROYOGA
Acroyoga is an interactive yoga practice that combines elements of gymnastics and circus skills with yoga stretching and strength building moves. Develop trust, communication and spatial awareness through learning beginner-level acroyoga poses, sequences and flows. Climb on people and learn to move as one! No previous experience or partner needed. All you need is a desire to "fly" and have fun!All levels welcome.
YIN
A slow practice focused on the deep connective tissues in the body. Floor postures are held 3-5 minutes in a calming, meditative class. Supportive of joint mobility and internal body systems, it encourages unwinding of tension. Yin brings a balance to your active lifestyle on or off the mat. Yin utilizes studio props like bolsters, blankets, sandbags, blocks, and straps to support long holds and deep stretches.All levels welcome.
HB: HAND-BALANCING
Learn the art of hand balancing in our 75-minute class, suitable for all levels. Develop technique, strength, flexibility, and conditioning through carefully curated progressions and drills. With a strong focus on alignment and symmetry, you will be guided toward learning various hand balance positions, whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner. Cultivate your balance and confidence in a supportive environment where you'll unlock your potential for inner and outer balance.

CORE
Find strength and length through 45 minutes of functional core training. The bulk of class is spent on total-core strength training, and full body conditioning, including front, back, and side body core. Utilizing body-weight movements, with the addition of fitness and Pilates style props to fire up your power-house. The best of both worlds, in addition to the Core focus, this class includes creative, dynamic stretching and lengthening of the muscles, with a focus on the breath; inspired by yoga and Pilates.\
All levels welcome.MAT PILATES
A wonderful complement to yoga, climbing, and regular life. Pilates challenges our muscles and endurance, while focusing our attention on our breath and postural muscles surrounding our back and core. Pilates works to build the core, back, and shoulder strength needed to achieve hand-balancing and climbing goals, as well as correct common back pains and stiffness from sitting and walking.

BOULDERING 101
Our Bouldering 101 clinic is an entry-level class covering many basic essential climbing skills. We’d recommend this class to anyone who is new to the sport!
Topics include risk mitigation, warming up, etiquette, technique, and climbing terms.

BOULDERING 102
Building on the foundation established in Bouldering 101, this 90-minute class is designed to refine your climbing skills and expand your bouldering repertoire. Learn to master your weight distribution, discovering how shifting your weight can unlock new moves and conserve energy. Perfect your grip positions, exploring different handholds and how to apply the right grip for maximum power and control. Refine your footwork, developing precise foot placement and technique to enhance your balance and stability. Whether you're a beginner looking to solidify your foundation or an intermediate climber aiming to refine your skills, this class will provide valuable insights and practical drills to improve your overall climbing performance.BOULDERING 201
Bouldering 201 is for the advanced beginner to Intermediate climbers. The class is designed to teach advanced techniques that will help any climber expand their understanding of movement and assist in the development of their skill set.Curriculum includes advanced body positioning, footwork skills and climbing strategies through isolating movement and learning to decipher movement off of the wall. It will also teach technique movement on the wall, including flagging, bicycles, drop-knees, heel-hooks and toe-hooks.
Each Lesson will be 90-minutes long and is limited to 6 participants per class.
Class Rules
Help us make classes the best they can be for all students by reviewing and following these policies. Please be sure to read all general policies and those related to the specific class you are taking. All classes are for ages 16+ unless otherwise approved by the program’s lead.
ARRIVING TO CLASS
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before class so that you have time to sign in with a crew member.
RESERVING AND CANCELING YOUR SPOT
Please only sign up for classes you know you will attend. If something comes up and you can no longer attend, you can cancel your reservation by logging into your Mindbody account—we ask you do so at least 4 hour prior to any bouldering or yoga class. This ensures that people who are waiting for a spot to open up can take the class. If you no-show or late-cancel three times within a two week period, your booking privileges will be suspended for one week.
Members who continue to be absent or late cancel their classes after their first suspension will receive progressively longer booking suspensions.
