VITAL gyms are open to members 24/7. We’re open to the public from 9am to 11pm, but only members can unlock the door at night to use the facility without staff running the show. The sense of trust and ownership this inspires is part of what makes the VITAL Community so exceptional.

ABOUT THE JOB

VITAL Wall Prep team members are excited to work closely with a small team to safely and efficiently prepare the climbing walls prior to setting. Wall Prep members are able to perform a multitude of physically demanding tasks including supporting heavy loads at height on ladders, lifting and carrying heavy crates of holds, and using an impact driver for extended periods of time. 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help prepare sections of the climbing wall to be reset the next day

  • Safely navigate a crowded gym to strip all holds and volumes off the wall

  • Wash all of the used holds

  • Organize bolts and screws to be reused

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Available to work at night

  • Comfortable working on ladders with tools at height 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time

  • Experience working with hand-held power tools (Impact driver, angle grinder, etc)
