ABOUT VITAL

Our mission at VITAL is to create places that people love. While our gyms focus on bouldering, we also offer programs such as yoga, aerial, cycle, and fitness. VITAL gyms are open to members 24/7. We’re open to the public during the day, but only members can unlock the door at night. The sense of trust and ownership this inspires is part of what makes the VITAL community special.

THE POSITION

VITAL couldn't survive if it wasn't for the Nightwatch Crew. We depend on Nightwatch Crew to keep the gym safe, clean, and under control outside of our public operating hours. Nightwatch Crew should always be courteous and friendly to make everyone feel welcomed and at home while also ensuring that all members are following the rules and regulations of the gym.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that all gym rules and policies are being followed 

  • Offer customer service support to members as needed

  • Operate Mindbody Online (POS System) for sales where needed

  • Keep the gym clean and tidy

  • Restock items for the next day

  • Assist in any safety needs of customers

  • Stay busy throughout the shift through a checklist of responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting and laundry

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Starting wage $19/hr

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Work experience in a similar position (front desk, cashier, reception, etc)

  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

  • Knowledge of climbing is an added bonus!
