Members have the ability to book classes in advance. All classes are free for members and single visit passes include one class, subject to availability. All fitness levels are welcome!

Fly with us

Come fly with us in our aerial silks and hammock classes! Gain strength and flexibility while you learn to climb and create beautiful shapes in our aerial classes.

Whether you are new to the air or have been training for years, we have classes to meet your skill level!

No equipment needed—not even shoes. Class will be taken in bare feet. Wear fitted clothes that cover your legs and midriff. Clothing must be free from buttons and zippers. Jeans/zippered pants are not allowed on the silks and will result in the instructor turning you away. All jewelry must be removed before class time. Please do not wear perfumes or scented products to class. All fitness levels welcome for ages 16+. Younger than 16? We offer private aerial lessons!

Three intro classes or permission from the program’s lead is required before taking higher-level classes. Please allow up to 48 hours for permission activation. If you have additional questions or comments, please reach out to rebecca@vitalclimbinggym.com.

GET Climbing

BOULDERING 101

Who is this class for?

Bouldering 101 is for people who are brand new to climbing and to VITAL! This class is best suited to people who have only been climbing a few times, are unfamiliar with VITAL’s grading system and routes, and want to learn about climbing etiquette.

What is covered in this class?

  • Climbing etiquette

  • Grading system, Identifying climbs, starts and finishes

  • Falling and downclimbing

  • General climbing risk mitigation

  • Points of contact

  • Pushing and pulling

  • Basic footwork

  • Twist to reach

  • Projecting

BOULDERING TECHNIQUE FUNDAMENTALS

Who is this class for?

Bouldering Fundamentals is for climbers with some initial experience who want to check in to make sure they have good foundational technique and understand climbing technique on a fundamental level.

What is covered in this class?

  • Climbing etiquette

  • Points of contact

  • Pushing and pulling

  • Basic footwork

  • Twist to reach

  • Topping out

Technique workshops

Who are these workshops for?

These workshops are for climbers who want to learn more about technique beyond what’s offered in a Bouldering Fundamentals/Bouldering 101 class. Students should already be familiar with all of the material in a Bouldering 101 / Bouldering Fundamentals Class.

FOOTWORK & BALANCE-LED DECISION MAKING

What is covered in this class?

  • Accuracy in foot placement

  • Optimizing foot placement on different types of holds

  • Switching feet

  • Flagging and counterbalance

  • Balance-led decision making


HOLDS & DIRECTIONALITY

What is covered in this class?

  • Different types of grips and climbing holds

  • Dragging vs. crimping

  • Hold directionality

  • Climbing on slopers


CLIMBFIT

Workout through on and off-the-wall training drills to develop strength, endurance, and power while climbing in this one-hour clinic.

Are there any prerequisites for this class?

Students should already be familiar with all of the material in a Bouldering 101 / Bouldering Fundamentals Class. They should be consistently climbing at least orange dot climbs (V2-V3) and regularly climbing on their own.

RESERVE YOUR BIKE

We offer both metrics-based and rhythm-based cycle classes. Whether you want to track your progress and compete with fellow riders or prefer to forget the metrics and just ride to the music, there is something for everyone. All levels are welcome.

Towel included. Rental shoes available for $2. All fitness levels welcome. Ages 16+ unless approved directly by the program’s lead.

We offer Vinyasa-style classes, meditation, hand-balancing, and rehabilitation classes.We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive studio for all! All props included. Mats and towels are available for rent, $2. All fitness levels welcome. Ages 16+. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
